"The Blood Angel yet lives. An incredible feat to take a bolt round to the head and merely lose an eye. It appears I was not wholly correct in my assumptions of you, or that the Emperor yet has use for you."

Valen helps Vaarsuvius to his feet. Damien gathers the weapons from the fallen marines: two plasma pistols, a bolt pistol, three combat knives and two large halbards

"shall we continue, Brothers? I fear there may not be time to delay" Kha says in his best impression of the party leader

“Indeed. Let us be off so that I may hit things.” Damien says in his best stuck-in-a-metal-box voice. (Anyone with an auspex just read a snark level of over 9000.)

Damien replaces his bolt pistol with a plasma pistol and hands the other to Valen. “I’ve seen how Varrsuvius shoots. I think you should hold on to this for now.”

Valen takes the plasma pistol and sticks it to his belt. The door at the far end of the med-bay sits ajar, emergency lights giving off an eerie red glow down the corridor, which would require Khavados to crouch to fit his bulk through.

“Varrsuvius and Valen take these halberds. Kah go in first, centurion go last. Everyone else form up between them. Let’s move out.”

"Very well." Pelious positions himself by the door, waiting for everyone else to get through.

All vox channels and laudhailers simultaneously crackle to life, carrying a chilly mechanically tinted voice across them.
"All functioning personnel still in possession of your personalities, please rendezvous at these coordinates. Proceed with caution."

Your voxes fizz shortly after the previous all-bands transmission, the same voice coming through on your shared channel alone. "Squad Digimen, be aware, potential hostiles inbound on your, admittedly unfortunate, position. Keep an ocular input device on the walls, floors, ceilings, and other suspiciously non-traversable surfaces."

The link goes silent, then after a brief moment turns back on, "Probably an aural input as well. You do have those, correct?"

Silence, then once more crackles to life, "Oh, this applies to the not-squad Dregsofmen individual as well. Good luck!"

"Well, I recognize that voice at least. It belongs to one of the senior Tech-Priests that was stationed here. I strongly recommend heeding their advice." Pelious then steps more towards the center of the room and cycles his weaponry.
